Project Shelter is a compassionate housing initiative that identifies vulnerable and homeless communities through field visits and grassroots partnerships. By directly engaging with families living in unsafe or unliveable conditions, the team assesses their needs and develops practical housing solutions in collaboration with social organisations and government bodies.
For instance, during a recent visit to Hunsekuppe Haadi near the Kabini River, the team met Madayya and several displaced Adivasi families whose homes had become uninhabitable. Following this assessment, Project Shelter initiated a structured plan to construct safe houses for ten families in the first phase through collective action with partner organisations.
Our Mission — Let no one be homeless.

Shelter Ambassadors drive the Project Shelter movement. You will contribute 1000 rupees every month. You will motivate at least 10 others to contribute 1000 rupees each to this cause. You will coordinate with your contacts to ensure their regular contributions and keep them informed of the developments of the project. You will be able to see them all in the website.
Shelter Donors are those who contribute 1000 rupees every month. Your contributions on a regular monthly basis will help the movement to have the required resources to continue with the construction of the houses. The Shelter Ambassador will coordinate with you. You will be able to get all information in this website. It is our collective goodness that would build the house.
Houses cannot be built only with money. We need lots of hand to make a house a reality. We need volunteers who can contribute their ideas, time and talents. You can be involved in the making of the house if you would be interested to contribute with your manual labourer or as electrician or plumber or painter and any such works. Please call 9448071973 to be a volunteer.
